Privacy Policy

At Petri Heil SpA ("Petri Heil", "we") we respect your privacy and process your personal data in accordance with Law No. 21,719, which regulates the protection and processing of personal data in Chile (in force since 1 December 2026), and its supplementary regulations.

2. Data we process

  • Data you provide through the contact form: name, company, email, phone, industry and the content of your message.
  • Technical data generated automatically when you visit the site: IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed, to the extent needed to operate and protect the site.

We apply data minimization: we collect only what is necessary for the stated purposes.

3. Purpose and legal basis

  • Respond to your inquiry and maintain the business contact you request — basis: your consent and pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
  • Operate, secure and improve the site — basis: our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional service.
  • Comply with legal obligations where applicable — basis: legal obligation.

We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal effects, nor do we sell it to third parties.

4. Consent

Where the basis is consent, it is freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, and you may withdraw it at any time by writing to contacto@petri-heil.tech, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Consent for purposes other than answering your inquiry (e.g. marketing communications) is requested separately and explicitly.

5. Third parties and international transfers

To provide the service we work with processors:

  • Hostinger (site hosting and email).
  • Google Fonts (web fonts), which load only if you consent in the site notice; when loaded, your IP address may be processed by Google.
  • The email provider through which we receive form messages.

Some providers may process data outside Chile. In such cases we require appropriate safeguards (contractual clauses and data processing agreements) under Law 21,719.

6. Retention

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, afterwards, for any applicable legal periods. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

As a data subject you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation (erasure) and objection (ARCO), plus portability and blocking. To exercise them, write to contacto@petri-heil.tech; we will respond within the legal timeframes. If you believe we process your data improperly, you may complain to Chile's Personal Data Protection Agency.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption. In the event of a security breach affecting your data, we will notify the Agency and affected data subjects as required by law.

9. Cookies and storage

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We use browser local storage only to remember your consent preference. Google web fonts load only after your consent; if you choose "Essential only", the site runs with your system fonts. You can change your choice anytime via the "Privacy preferences" link in the footer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The current version will be posted on this page with its update date.
